MARKET CATTLE

Decent run of weigh ups. Prices are down in the toilet right now going into the fall round up season and with so many places facing dry conditions with little to no feed. On the positive side, feeders seem to be trending upwards and holding in there pretty good for now. My thoughts on fdr cattle producers this fall/winter is please take the time and spend the money to get your cattle vaccinated preferably double vacc. with a modified live and try to have them weaned 60 days ahead of selling. The ones that do so will be rewarded and get a good return on the money spent. Fat cattle margins are gonna be tight with the lower markets, so help them out and yourself and lets work together so we can all have a prosperous year.
